Fall Prevention

While older adults and young children are at highest risk groups for sustaining traumatic brain injury (TBI) due to falls, everyone is at risk.

The good news is that many falls can be prevented. Parents and caregivers can play a key role in protecting children and vulnerable adults, while  adults can take proactive measures to reduce their risks.

The Brain Injury Association of Mississippi supports the implementation, dissemination, and sustainability of evidence-based falls prevention programs and strategies to reduce the incidence of falls. Explore the resources below to learn more about fall awareness and prevention.
