BIAMS Executive Director on MPB - Southern Remedy March 22nd

This coming Monday BIAMS Executive Director, Lee Moss, will be a guest on MPB’s Southern Remedy radio show with Dr. Josie Boswell from 11 a.m. - Noon.

March is Brain Injury Awareness Month, and Ms. Moss will share facts about brain injury and insights on the life- altering impact it has on survivors and family members. She will also be discussing fall prevention and simple changes that can be made to prevent falls. Remember: The only cure for brain injury is prevention!

Brain injury is often referred to by many experts as "The Silent Epidemic" due to the staggering number of brain injuries each year and disabilities the injury creates. As the Brain Injury Community knows, "Brain injury survivors may look fine on the outside, but they are not the same person on the inside that they were prior to the injury."

Please tune in to MS Public Broadcasting's "Southern Remedy" this coming Monday at 11:00 a.m. to learn more!

Southern Remedy is Mississippi Public Broadcasting's flagship wellness program dedicated to keeping Mississippians healthy.

It consists of a weekday call-in radio show. Weekday Line-Up 11 A.M. - noon - Monday thru Friday on #MPBThinkRadio. https://www.mpbonline.org/radio/southern-remedy/
